The FiberTwist FTU is a versatile solution designed together with installers to meet the diverse and evolving needs of various networks. The FTU-1111 is our standard FTU with 1x pre-installed pigtail, SC/PC patch in (blue) and pre-terminated fiber cable. By deploying a single, adaptable, and future-proof FTU, you can achieve greater efficiency and cost savings.  

Maximum flexibility

Every active unit of the FiberTwist fits on any FiberTwist FTU. The FTU is specifically designed to allow for seamless upgrades to a new active unit. This means that for future upgrades or changes, the FTU can stay in place— even when you upgrade to a third-party ONT. With a wide variety of options, such as preinstalled pigtails, gas blockers, and patch in/out couplers, all deployment scenarios are covered. The FiberTwist FTU is a single FTU supporting all technologies, and there is no need to touch the splicing in the future. This approach ensures that the FTU remains relevant and effective as new technologies emerge, protecting your investment and reducing the need for replacements.
