We understand that fiber broadband equipment is a critical interface to be connected to the world around us. For that reason, we want to be known as a recognized leader in the industry and fortify an integer and resilient business in preparation for future risks and opportunities. We deliver secure communication solutions and proactively prepare for CSRD compliance, showcasing our commitment to engage in sustainability across the value chain. We also uphold a steadfast commitment to active supplier engagement, striving to become a champion in responsible sourcing.
Business conduct
We strive to cultivate a corporate culture where all stakeholders understand what constitutes misconduct, where reporting such behavior is encouraged and treated with confidentiality, and we rigorously monitor incidents or breaches.
Achievements
Anti-corruption and anti-bribery
Genexis does not tolerate any form of corruption or bribery and may take proportionate disciplinary or legal actions when appropriate. If a violation of law is detected, Genexis may be required to report the breach to regulatory authorities, such as the police. We have taken several steps to ensure ethical business practices, including an updated Code of Conduct, a new whistleblower system enforced by an external party, and a revised policy.
Data security and customer integrity
Genexis envisions leading the FTTH industry in cybersecurity by securing our operations and enhancing our customers’ security. Our security measures in products, internal processes, and customer services aim to create a unified, secure digital environment, fostering trust and resilience in the face of evolving cyber threats. From 2023, Genexis aligned its Information Security Management System policies with ISO27001, our customers, the Network and Information Security (NIS2), and Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) directives.
Responsible supply chain management
We are committed to conducting our business according to international sustainability standards, strongly emphasizing human and labor rights, environmental protection, and anti-corruption practices. All our key suppliers signed our Supplier Code of Conduct, reinforcing a shared commitment to these standards. Genexis introduces ESG supplier scorecards and aims to have all its critical suppliers assessed by EcoVadis by 2026. We also uphold a commitment to responsible sourcing guidelines (e.g., OECD), aiming to ensure that our products are free of conflict minerals before 2030.
Regulatory landscape
The new reporting standards introduced by the European Financial Reporting Advisory Group (EFRAG) fall under the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). These standards will be effective for Genexis by 2026, reporting on FY2025. Our internal CSRD workgroup has already started on CSRD compliance since the summer of 2024.
