Achievements
Employee well-being
At Genexis, we are committed to fostering a workplace where every employee finds fulfillment and well-being. We aim to cultivate optimal working conditions and a motivational environment for all team members.
We conduct annual surveys to monitor employee satisfaction levels and identify areas for improvement. Through careful analysis of these surveys and the implementation of tailored measures, we continuously strive to enhance the overall well-being of our workforce. Our target is to increase employee survey scores annually.
Diversity and inclusion
Our company culture is about attracting and fostering a diverse and inclusive team, because it brings new thinking and innovation.
In 2023, we successfully increased the number of women represented on our board from 33% to 40% (2 out of 5). In the company, 22% female employees were employed, a slight decrease of 2% compared to 2022.
We target closing the gender pay gap by 2026 at the latest. In 2023, we were at a 24% unadjusted gender pay gap.
Health and safety
Genexis prioritizes the physical and mental health and safety of employees. We ensure that employees can maintain a good work-life balance, help avoid the build-up of stress, and encourage preventative healthcare.
HR and our Health and Safety manager are responsible for having the appropriate policy and procedures in place to ensure health and safety in the workplace and encouraging the use of preventive healthcare where applicable.
0 incidents were reported in 2023.
Career management and development
Providing professional and personal growth for our people is a priority. We are committed to the continuous development of our people and, therefore, implemented a new HR platform for career management and development.
We increase resources and opportunities for employees to enhance their skills, advance their careers, and achieve their professional goals. Our organizational goal is that every employee receives one week of training per year by 2030 at the latest.
In 2023, employees had an average of five training hours per year.
Workers in the value chain
We engage with our supply chain on their working conditions, as manufacturing can possibly expose workers to health and safety risks, overtime working hours, and other types of risks to human and labor rights. In 2024, we performed an ESG risk analysis on our supply chain to uncover potential risks to be remediated.
Our suppliers all signed our Supplier code of conduct and actively cooperate with third-party (JAC) auditing to ensure their work environment is according to standards and/or other expectations.
