Titan Telecom International, an American reseller of high-quality network connectivity equipment, has partnered with Genexis to help service providers expand fiber networks across the US. By combining deep market access with flexible, interoperable CPE solutions, the partnership enables faster deployments, customized solutions, and new growth opportunities in Active Ethernet and beyond.
A focused vendor-agnostic approach to the US fiber market
Titan Telecom International (Titan) is a value-added reseller, operating since 2007 and specializing in network infrastructure for Tier 2 and 3 operators, utilities, power and gas companies, and municipalities. Their portfolio ranges from core routers/switches, compatible optics, and optical transport infrastructure to the “last mile” of home connectivity, including Active Ethernet and PON hardware. They also refurbish equipment and provide product lifecycle solutions for customers.
Titan’s vendor-independent, solution-first approach allows operators to integrate Genexis alongside their existing network architecture, without being forced into a single-vendor ecosystem. We ship same day from our warehouse in Elk Grove, California, helping operators move faster when responding to critical network outages, capacity upgrades, and other time-sensitive deployment needs,” said Todd Houser, VP of Sales at Titan Telecom International.
With its independent model, Titan-owned inventory, and sourcing capabilities, Titan helps operators reduce lead times, support the lifecycle of new and refurbished equipment, and deploy flexible, cost-effective solutions tailored to each operator’s network needs.
Filling a market gap in Active Ethernet
As fiber deployment accelerated, Titan sought to expand its Active Ethernet CPE offering. In the process, Titan identified a market gap: flexible, non-OEM Active Ethernet CPE options were limited. During this search, one of Titan’s hardware partners suggested a vendor, and Genexis stood out early on.
“Genexis was one of the first Active Ethernet CPE options we evaluated that offered a viable alternative to the major OEM ecosystem, while still feeling purpose-built rather than like a generic commodity device. That was exciting; it filled a real gap,” explains Todd. This also aligned with Titan’s strategy to offer open, interoperable solutions tailored to operator needs.

From evaluation to large-scale deployment
The partnership quickly moved from evaluation to deployment, starting with early opportunities and expanding into larger projects, particularly with a cornerstone customer.
I’ve been very impressed with Genexis. Our customer had very specific requirements, and your engineering team was able to modify and customize the software to meet the customer’s needs,” said John Shannon, Account Executive at Titan Telecom International.
The partnership has resulted in:
- Rapid volume growth driven by high-speed rollout and subscriber activation
- Ongoing expansion into new operators
- Strong customer satisfaction
Flexibility that makes the difference
For operators with specific technical or operational requirements, flexibility is critical. Genexis’ ability to adapt, especially in software customization and interoperability, is a key differentiator. Compared to other vendors, Genexis’ flexibility enables faster response times, customer-focused features, and easier integration into existing networks.
Genexis has grown with us and supported us exactly the way we needed,” continues Todd.
Unlocking new growth opportunities
Working with Genexis has enabled Titan to expand its portfolio, particularly in Active Ethernet, a niche and competitive space. Todd notes, “Before Genexis, we weren’t doing any meaningful Active Ethernet business. This has expanded our business significantly in the CPE space.”
With the confidence and proven track record from Active Ethernet, the partnership is now also opening doors in XGS-PON environments, third-party ONT adoption, and multi-vendor network strategies.
As demand for fiber access continues to grow, Titan and Genexis are expanding their partnership to support more operators across the US with flexible, interoperable solutions for evolving network needs.
Todd concludes, “Genexis has become an important part of our fiber access strategy. The partnership is mutually beneficial, and we see significant opportunities to build on this foundation.”
