Genexis, the European leader of innovative broadband solutions, is joining Positron Access Solutions, a leader in Gigabit Any Media (GAM) MDU ONT solutions and a member of the HomeGrid Forum, at Network X to share their joint solution. Network X takes place from October 14 to 16 in Paris.
The partner case explains how Genexis and Positron, together, help fiber network operators tackle one of their biggest challenges and opportunities: extending high-speed fiber connectivity into every multi-dwelling unit (MDU) by using existing wiring. Around 50% of European households live in MDUs. Rewiring MDUs is costly and labor intensive and hinders the EU’s Digital Decade targets. The partnership and Genexis’ FiberBridge solution, built on Positron’s GAM MDU ONT, were both launched at ANGACOM 2025. The solution uses the proven G.hn Wave-2 standard (ITU G.9960) to deliver Gigabit-plus Ethernet speeds over the telephone lines as well as coaxial cables – both common legacy wires in older MDUs. The Genexis’ FiberBridge solution is currently available in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
