Genexis became sponsor of the German “Academy Passive Netztechnik” (Academy for Passive Network Technology) in Westeregeln near Magdeburg. The Academy consists of multiple organisations in the passive network area that have bundled their knowledge to share it with the interested German public during several trainings throughout the year.

The well-balanced training program educates the public on passive network technology, from the point-of-presents (POP) to the home. Genexis is involved in lectures on how to deal with the fiber termination point in the home and different solutions for both Point-to-Point and GPON deployment scenarios.

Alexander Dieteren, Team Leader Product Line Management at Genexis and trainer in the Academy, is pleased with the initiative of the Academy. “We are happy to take part in this program and embrace the initiative to share knowledge on passive network technology in Germany – one of our European focus markets.”
