This employee spotlight is with Chantal Brouwer. Chantal works as Commercial Product Manager in the Genexis Product Creation Team. She joined Genexis in October 2021 directly after finishing her studies in MSc Business Administration.
Why did you choose to work as a product manager at Genexis after your studies?
Genexis is a growing company operating in a fast-paced environment. This can be challenging, but fun. I really like the large variety of tasks and activities. As a Commercial Product Manager, no day is the same. It is also great you get to work with different departments and people who all bring their different personalities and cultures. Every day I learn new things.
What do you like most about working at Genexis?
Genexis has a very open and welcoming atmosphere in which everybody is allowed to share their opinion. It is a place filled with knowledge where you can learn a lot. In my opinion this contributes to success and growth as a company and as a person.
What do you like most about your job?
Within Genexis, I am responsible for the Genexis EasyWiFi app; an app in which the ease of use for the end-user is the central theme. It is fun and challenging to translate the complex technologies we work with in a way that is understandable for everybody. I think it is very important to keep the end-user in mind when creating new products.
Would you recommend others to come work at Genexis?
Yes, Genexis is a nice company to work for. There is a good atmosphere and I enjoy working with my colleagues. It is fun to work in a company that is rapidly growing, where you can learn a lot and grow as a professional.
