We are seeking a highly skilled System and Application Manager to manage our IT systems and applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting the organization’s systems and applications. This role requires an individual who is proficient in both system engineering and application management, with a deep understanding of both fields.

Your role within Genexis

  • Design, implement, and maintain the organization’s systems, including hardware, software, and network infrastructure
  • Develop and implement strategies for system and application deployment, configuration, and maintenance
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues, working closely with the IT manager and other stakeholders to resolve problems promptly
  • Manage and oversee the development and deployment of enterprise applications
  • Ensure that all applications meet organizational standards and security requirements
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including system and application specifications, user manuals, and standard operating procedures
  • Provide generic IT support on a case-by-case basis
  • Create better “how-to” documentation and tutorial for in-house tools
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for system and application enhancements
  • Ensure that all applications are tested thoroughly and meet performance standards
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in system engineering and application management

Your Experience & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • The right mentality and attitude are more important for us than a degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in system engineering and application management in a multi-OS environment
  • Experience in enterprise application development and deployment
  • Strong expertise in managing Office 365 and Intune environments
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS or Azure
  • Knowledge of security and compliance standards such as ISO27001 and GDPR
  • You “see” the work and take responsibility
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

First meeting & business case

If the first meeting goes well for you and for us, we may invite you to complete a business case (at home) in your field of expertise. This is the perfect opportunity for you to highlight your added value to the team, and decide if the job really suits you.

Second meeting

If we both see potential after this stage, then we will invite you to our offices for a second meeting. We will give you more information about the job, and introduce you to your future team members. You will also talk about contract conditions with our HR Manager.

Offer

If all goes well after the second meeting, you will receive an offer by email. We will then invite you to sign the contract and you are then a part of the Genexis team!
