Junior IT Engineer
Your role within Genexis
As a Junior IT engineer you take part in daily IT activities, such as configuration and installation of
workstations, servers, and help with system and network management. Together with the IT Manager you continue to build a stable, flexible, safe and pleasant digital work environment.
You are responsible for both, user & device provisioning, covering everything from ordering systems, to account creation and assigning of access rights, to initial device configuration and on-going management. Monitor & react to security/management alerts. Provide generic IT support on a case-by-case basis and create better “how to” documentation and turtorial for in-house tools.
Your Experience & Skills
To be successful in this role you have experience with installing, configuring and securing servers/services as required on Linux, Apple or Windows devices. Experience with Mac OSX and Windows active directory is a plus.
You are able to deal with hardware/software issues that occur. You are able to ensure that our network (spread across several different countries) is patched, secured and monitored. It is essential that you can speak and write both Dutch and English.
