Freelance IT Engineer
Your role within Genexis
As an IT Engineer / IT Consultant at Genexis, you take on-demand part in new and daily IT activities, such as configuration and installation of workstations, servers, system and network management and troubleshooting. During vacation periods you step in as a replacement for the permanent staff.
Together with the IT Manager and our IT partners you continue to build a stable, flexible, safe and pleasant digital work environment. Your main goal is to prevent software and hardware problems and when necessary you can solve those problems. If this is the case you provide step-by-step technical help to our users, both written and verbal. Of course, you document your work effectively and efficiently.
Your Experience & Skills
To be successful in this position you should have extensive knowledge and experience with Aruba/HP switches, AWS, Azure AD, Grafana, Intune, Linux and macOS in an enterprise environment, Networking (IPv4 and IPv6) in general, Office 365, Sharepoint Online, Sophos firewalls and Endpoint Protection, Splunk, Veeam, VMware, Windows Server software and Zabbix.
It is essential that you speak and write both Dutch and English and that you are prepared to work in the evening once every three weeks during our maintenance window.
