Your role within Genexis

In this key role you will take on full responsibility for the financial activities of the legal entities of Genexis Group. This includes leading the financial control and accounting parts but also providing financial guidance and support to colleagues so they can make sound business decisions. Genexis Group has a growth strategy, aiming to grow to 200 M EUR within the coming 3-4 years, primarily through growth in Europe and North America. You will report directly to the Genexis Group CFO.

Your responsibilities

  • Lead, drive, develop and quality assure the work within the Accounting and Finance Control Team within all subsidiaries in the Genexis Group, including managing the external accounting firms utilized for the smaller subsidiaries
  • Manager for 6-7 direct reports working in different entities with the Group
  • Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as payroll, supplier payments, invoicing, and other transactions
  • Lead and drive the monthly and annual closings in alignment with Group processes
  • Prepare annual reports in alignment with Group processes
  • Responsible for cash management
  • Key contributor in establishing yearly budgets and forecasts
  • Ensure that the financial accounts are of high quality and that we comply with both IFRS and local accounting standards
  • Responsibility and main point of contact for tax preparation, auditing, banking, investments (including capitalized R&D), and other financial needs as necessary
  • Responsible for tax issues and declarations, ensuring that the transfer pricing policies are followed, and contacts with auditors and other authorities
  • Support for the development of processes and routines within the finance area in alignment with Group Finance

Your Experience & Skills

You have excellent analytical skills, are accurate, have excellent communicative skills, and have a positive mindset. You are proactive, dare to take the lead, are independent and have the ambition to grow within a growing company.
You are fluent in English at a professional level and have a master’s degree in accounting/business economics or equivalent and at least 5 years of relevant experience in an international finance position.

First meeting & business case

If the first meeting goes well for you and for us, we may invite you to complete a business case (at home) in your field of expertise. This is the perfect opportunity for you to highlight your added value to the team, and decide if the job really suits you.

Second meeting

If we both see potential after this stage, then we will invite you to our offices for a second meeting. We will give you more information about the job, and introduce you to your future team members. You will also talk about contract conditions with our HR Manager.


If all goes well after the second meeting, you will receive an offer by email. We will then invite you to sign the contract and you are then a part of the Genexis team!
